In 1974 three professionals of the textile industry who specialized in design, production, and sales, decided to put together their skills and knowledge to create Artipun, a company dedicated to the production of lace and entredeux, for lingerie and corstery.
The frim quickly acquired a reputation in a national level, for being a serious company with high quality and elaborated designs. This allowed Artipun to acquire a wide network of relationships with courtain retailers.
In 1980, Mr. José Querlató, seeing the growing demand for lace courtains, created a colection which received a spectacular uptake by the public, and ever since the company has been dedicated to this, and enjoyed for many years a very rapid growth, both in machinery and workforce.
In 1984, Artipun became property of the Queraltó family. Due to the company's growth and market demand, fantasy fabrics were added to Artipun's portfolio, which in turn gave the company a new boost in national and international markets.
In 1990, the Puntmed division was created, exclusively dedicated to pronto fabrics and lace, both made from lycra and rigid. This mainly targeted producers of ceremonial garments.
In 2000, Artipun had achieved a solid presence at a European level.
In 2006, the company began selling it's products in the "by meter" fashion. This changed completely the company's distribution strategy.
In 2012, a subsidiary in Milan was created, in order to facilitate and agilitate service of products in Italy.
Since then, the company has evolved thinking always in it's customer's needs. Artipun's team enjoys what they do, and it is because of this that they put all their enthusiasm and knowledge into every collection they create.
At the time, we produce and comercialize different types of fabrics, including plain, printed, embroidery, lace, jaguars, tapestries.
Our distribution is focused on distributors and retail shops, and today we are present in more than 3000 selling points.
In the following years we will introduce new projects, growth, and development towards new countries.
Our ideology: We believe in what we do, and we understand that Artipun's success will only come from the combined success of every single one of our customers.
